Dr. Anissa Boudreau, D.C.
Chiropractor
Dr. Anissa Boudreau is a Rhode Island native. Growing up she was always very active, playing soccer or dancing competitively. Her chiropractic journey began after athletic injuries in high school. Her treatments included physical therapy, chiropractic care, and even surgery. However, she still wasn’t sold. It wasn’t till years later, as she completed her undergraduate studies in Health Fitness at East Carolina University, that the chiropractic field made its way back into the picture. With better knowledge of the human body she revisited the philosophy and science behind chiropractic, and it just made sense. This is what she was meant to do. After graduation she attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. During her time at Sherman College, Dr. Boudreau specialized as a Patient Education Intern, helping fellow students and patients understand the true power of chiropractic!
Dr. Boudreau knew her love for people combined with the desire to help others was a calling that she couldn't ignore. She devotes careful attention to the biomechanics, structure and function of the spine. She practices with a vitalistic approach; looking for underlying interference and utilizing hands-on techniques and gentle procedures that allow the body to heal from the inside out and function optimally. Furthermore, she holds certifications in the prenatal Webster Technique, Pediatric Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT®) and Graston Technique®. She is an active member of the world renowned International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is currently in the process of completing her perinatal certification. It is Dr. Boudreau’s goal to help each and every patient on their individual journey to a happier, healthier life!
In her free time, Dr. Boudreau enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She also loves reading and crafts.
